1. Return Policy Overview
At Sanskar, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We accept returns on most items within 7 days of delivery, provided they are in their original condition and packaging.
2. Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- Unused and in the same condition that you received it
- In the original packaging
- Accompanied by the original invoice or receipt
- Returned within 7 days of delivery
2.1 Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Personalized or custom-made items
- Gemstones that have been energized through rituals
- Items used in religious ceremonies or rituals
- Digital products such as e-books or digital consultations
- Items marked as "non-returnable" at the time of purchase
- Perishable goods such as food items
3. Return Process
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Log into your Sanskar account
- Go to your Order History and find the relevant order
- Select "Return Items" and follow the instructions
- Print the return shipping label (if provided)
- Package the item securely with all included accessories and documentation
- Ship the item using the provided return label or your preferred shipping method

4. Return Shipping
You are responsible for the cost of returning the item unless:
- The item received was damaged, defective, or incorrect
- A return shipping label was provided with your order
For damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped items, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label and issue a full refund including the original shipping costs.
5. Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed within 3-5 business days. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment method and financial institution:
- Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days
- UPI/Net Banking: 3-7 business days
- Digital Wallets: 1-3 business days
6. Refund Options
We offer the following refund options:
- Refund to the original payment method
- Store credit (with an additional 5% bonus)
- Exchange for another product
Please specify your preferred refund option when initiating the return.
7. Exchanges
If you would like to exchange an item for a different size, color, or product, please follow the return process and place a new order for the desired item. This ensures the fastest processing time.
For gemstones, if you need to exchange for astrological reasons, please contact our astrology team atastrology@sanskar.com before initiating a return.
8. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damaged item and packaging. We will arrange for a return or replacement at our expense.
9. International Returns
For international orders, the same return policy applies, but please note:
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
- Import duties and taxes are non-refundable
- Processing time for international returns may be longer
